Prolific Petit Strikes Again One of my favorite authors， C J Petit， keeps cranking out quality work。 This novel is no exception。 Character development is plausible and the plot is exciting as this highly competent lawman meets challenges as well as the love of his life。 No curling toes in this one but C J still has his old west heroes “snickering” occasionally。

Excellent as always！Never read a C J Petit novel that wasn’t top notch。 I don’t like to write reviews because they’re like the book reports required in school ， college etc。; so I don’t write many。 I look forward to each new book if his to come out， normally every 3 or 4 weeks。 I am never disappointed in the story’s， content， or genre and he Varys them， but they are always complete lots good detail but not just filler。
